European neutrino particle physicist DPhil at the University of Oxford (2001-2005; UK) in the MINOS experiment (FNAL; US based). CNRS/IN2P3 scientist (permanent staff) since 2007, currently affiliated with the IJC laboratory (Orsay, France) and the underground LNCA laboratory (Chooz, France). Renowned expertise in particle physics, neutrino science, detection, hardware (especially electronics and photon detection), simulations and high-precision (absolute and relative) physics analyses. Active supervision, mentoring of scientists, science outreach & dissemination and international collaboration with institutions in the Americas, Asia and Europe. Spokesperson of a) the CLOUD international collaboration (since 2023;16 institutions, 10 countries), b) the LPET-OTech national consortium (since 2021; CNRS-INSERM on medical technology innovation), c) the AntiMatter-OTech international consortium (since 2020; on nuclear industrial technology innovation with EDF and 5 European academic institutions, 4 countries), d) the LiquidO international consortium (since 2016; 24 institutions, 11 countries), and e) the Double Chooz international collaboration (since 2017; now 26 institutions, 7 countries). Founded the LPET-OTech (2020), AM-OTech (2020), and LiquidO (2016) consortia, as well as the CLOUD and the JUNO SPMT system collaboration (2015; initially 15 institutions, 7 countries). CNRS national leader of the projects (including experiments) a) SuperChooz Pathfinder (since 2021; 4 laboratories), b) CLOUD/AM-OTech (since 2021; 2 laboratories), c) LPET-OTech (since 2021; 4 laboratories), e) LiquidO R&D (since 2017; 6 laboratories), f) Double Chooz (2014-2022; 4 laboratories), and g) JUNO (2018-2019; 5 laboratories). Director of the underground LNCA laboratory (Chooz, France) 2014-2021. Main scientific contributions: i) invented the LiquidO detection technique (2012), ii) led to several of the most important results of the Double Chooz experiment (2005-2022; past major coordination roles in physics and detectors), and iii) conceived and developed much of the scientific programmes of a) CLOUD experiment (since 2021), b) AntiMatter-OTech project (since 2020), c) LPET-OTech project (since 2020), d) SuperChooz experiment (since 2018), and e) the JUNO dual calorimetry system (2015-2020).
